Get to know the Potato Heads featured in our lookbook and learn more about their roles at the Desa
Can you share your name and your role at Potato Head?
My name is Dito Prahadi, although sometimes my friends call me Praha. Suit yourself! As the Sustainability Manager at Potato Head, I try to make sure we maximise positive impacts on our environment and community.
What's your favourite spot at The Desa and why?
I have a few favourites. I'm a sucker for sunsets, so I'd say (obviously) Sunset Park would be my pick for evenings, and also because you get a great vantage point of the Beachfront area, a bit of the Beach Club, and Potato Head Suites.
What has been the most exciting project you've worked on at Potato Head so far?
This year, we've been working on our first ever Sustainability Report. I've been fortunate enough to work on it as my brainchild, and since I was assigned to it not long after I joined Potato Head, it's been a great way for me to learn more about our sustainability efforts so far. The report outlines a holistic view of our impacts on the environment and community, while establishing a baseline that identifies areas of improvement for us to do better moving forward.
Looking ahead, which upcoming project excites you the most?
All our sustainability efforts are driven by a common goal: reducing our emissions. So far, we’ve made significant progress with our waste management system, bringing us closer to our zero-waste goal, with only 2.9% of waste sent to landfill in 2023. However, it’s now time to shift our focus to other areas, such as energy. Contributing to the transition to renewable energy sources is the project I’m most excited about moving forward.
