Can you share your name and your role at Potato Head?
Hi! I’m Pierre, and I work as a Creative Producer at Potato Head. I’m part of the creative team and collaborate closely with our in-house photographer and videographer, Putu Eka. My role involves coordinating and organising assignments that require documentation.
What does a typical day at The Desa look like for you?
My day-to-day varies depending on the projects we’re working on. One of the things I enjoy about production is the flexibility it requires. A lot of my work involves planning, emailing, and scheduling, which are more administrative tasks. But when it's time for a shoot, I help liaise, coordinate, and prepare to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The projects range from afternoon merchandise campaign shoots to early morning product photography, and even conducting interviews with DJs, artists, and cultural figures for our #DesaDialogue series. There’s no fixed routine — I stay flexible and plan according to what’s on the schedule.
What’s your favourite spot at The Desa and why?
I love spending my coffee moments at Dome. Sitting on the couches, surrounded by great books, and enjoying a caffeine fix — it’s perfect. Danika always serves up an amazing cup of coffee!
What has been the most exciting project you’ve worked on at Potato Head so far?
One of the highlights has been working on the Merasa Festival this year. From handling creative production and teaching a flow-movement class to DJing at Sunset Park — it was an incredible experience!
One of the best parts of production is collaborating with talented people. I had the privilege of working with an amazing crew for Merasa 2024, filming and editing everything in real time.
